I did drive around through Salem late Friday (wastefully I know) just scouting out the situation and between Main Street and 4th Street (the truck route) most stations seemed to be out. The one at the corner of the truck route and Main Street with the Burger King was at $5.39 I think and had a customer!

Yeah, that was an interesting thing. I wasn't out and about this weekend but I was surprised by the morning headlines. Hopefully by the time I need gas, things will be back to normal.

In Salem the panic caused a couple of stations to even run out! Then Go-Mart took advantage and raised their price to $5.34! And the people still bought it!!!! We are totally being gouged. Even Houston prices are nowhere near as steep.
