Who Is the Author?

My name is Steve and I’m a late 20s local Roanoke native born and bred here in the Valley. I’m a young professional who grew up here, went to school at Virginia Western Community College and Radford University, and then came back and purchased a home in Roanoke City where I currently reside.

When Do You Update with New Posts?

I schedule regular updates by 9am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays of every week. But, it won’t be unusual for another post or two also to be updated at various times during the week.

What Do You Write About?

Changes going on in the area and other local aspects of and about Roanoke. I don’t formally report but instead write about things as myself, a common citizen, experience or see them.

I primarily write about the City of Roanoke, but also on occasion about Roanoke County and the City of Salem.
