About Noke News
Down-to-earth ramblings from a Roanoke, VA native. Words and pictures explain this unique and ever-evolving place I call home.
That’s Noke News.
Who Is the Author?
My name is Steve and I’m a late 20s local Roanoke native born and bred here in the Valley. I’m a young professional who grew up here, went to school at Virginia Western Community College and Radford University, and then came back and purchased a home in Roanoke City where I currently reside.
When Do You Update with New Posts?
I update with new posts at different times throughout the week. The best way to catch every post is to subscribe to receive all the updates via email or in a feed reader.
What Do You Write About?
Changes going on in the area and other local aspects of and about Roanoke. I don’t formally report but instead write about things as myself, a common citizen, experience or see them.
I primarily write about the City of Roanoke, but also on occasion write about Roanoke County and the City of Salem as well as other surrounding areas.
