The Noke News Update 30 is a collection of area projects or other developments I’ve written about, but which are rather substantial and/or ongoing. So, I’ll be posting updates on them continuously and about once each calendar month (or more often) to keep up with notable changes and progress that I see.

Currently on the Update 30:

Keagy Village Project and The Townes at Hidden Valley (Last Updated 5/25/08)

A new shopping center and townhome community under construction, adjacent from one another, on Keagy Road near the intersection with Electric Road/Route 419 and across the street from Allstate Insurance in Roanoke.

Madison Field (Last Updated 5/20/08)

A new housing community under construction along Brambleton Avenue at the intersection with Overland Road in Roanoke.

Maple Leaf Farms (Last Updated 5/20/08)

A new housing subdivision in development along Grandin Road (sometimes referred to as Grandin Road Ext) in-between the intersections with Glen Heather and Mud Lick Roads in Roanoke.

Roadway Construction on Brandon and Colonial Avenues (Last Updated 5/7/08)

Construction as part of a project to lessen traffic congestion in the vicinity of Towers Shopping Mall, specifically to help lessen traffic that backs up during peak times on Route 220 at the Colonial Avenue exit.
